"It requires a leap of faith to hire a designer to create a special piece of jewelry for an anniversary. Never mind long-distance, and sight unseen! But I took that leap with Jeannette and am very happy I did.

 

I went looking for a dragonfly pendant for my husband but everything I found in stores and on line was either too feminine or flimsy. I came across Jeannette's site and while she didn't have anything just right in stock, her email reply to me said she could design a one-of-a-kind piece. Here's where the leap came in since we'd never met, and still haven't. But our phone conversation and her excellent listening skills gave me the confidence to go forward. Jeannette made a few sketches, which we tinkered with to make sure we were hitting the right mark. It was important that the piece be masculine, heavy, solid, and elegant. She suggested a heavy link chain and a strong bail, and I asked that a black diamond be included.

 

It was already going to be a tight time frame. But to add to the drama, the Fed Ex delivery Jeannette arranged hit a snag. The driver ignored the sign informing him the door bell was out and to knock loudly. So we missed the first attempt (which required a signature). Jeannette got on the phone with Fed Ex, begged him to wait while she called me. I called my son to alert him that the driver was at their door (they had a one week old baby inside so it took a minute!). Success! I had the gift-wrapped pendant in time to present it to my beloved the evening of our anniversary.

 

My husband loves the pendant and hasn't taken it off since. It's exactly right and such a true reflection of his personality. Jeannette went way above and beyond to create a keepsake and ensure it got to me in time. I can't recommend her highly enough. Thank you so much, Jeannette!"
